And that’s it!
Then sit back and follow along on the THP Forum as we announce the winner on Monday the 14th. One entry per person allowed and entries must be in by midnight on Sunday, June 13th.
Good luck everybody.
Ping has a reputation for forgiving hybrids. I think it could add some consistency to that spot in my bag.
However, given that all of my other clubs are Ping G410 and I really appreciate the forgiveness and consistency of those, I think that the G425 hybrid would fit way better my swing style… hopefully, maybe… I think ?
What hybrids do you currently play? – None at the moment
Why you want to give the PING G425 Hybrid a try? – I have heard great things about this and would be nice to have to turn down the loft to give me something in the bag for courses I play that have long par 3s that are at the 190-210 range, instead of having to muscle a 4-iron.
Would like to try a Ping hybrid as I currently use a Ping 410 Driver and love it.
I love my Ping 3 im sure the newer 4 would work out great
ID love to match the 3 as far as performance
I want to play the Ping G425 because my son is killing his G425 5 wood and I’m hoping the Ping would do the same for my hybrid game (can’t try my son’s 5 wood bc he is a lefty so that club has been taunting me).
?
Thanks
I need a hybrid that doesn’t go left more than Bernie Sanders. I’ve had great luck with Ping irons for years and would expect their hybrid would be consistent for me.
I would love this as it gives a bit more flexibility in that area, my bag is all Ping and Taylormade apart from my 5-wood (cobra amp cell) so this would really complete the bag and give be better options from the fairway!
I want a g425 based off all the amazing reviews on it and want a club that inspires confidence from 200+ instead of a thin piece of forged iron.
I have been waiting to get one until I improve my overall golf game and I believe I’m finally ready to expand my game outside of my woods and irons.
I need more consistency and a little more height. Read great things about this hybrid
I’d love the G425 as it would be a step up and I only hear amazing things about it.
I tried the G425, and his looks immediately gave me more confidence and I could finally start to hit down on the ball, and the results were so consistent that I immediately fell in love with it.
I would put it in my bag anytime!
Two main reasons to give this hybrid a try, is I’m looking for something more consistent off the tee as well as that 220 yrd club to help with gapping.
What hybrids do you currently play?
I’ve never played a hybrid. I’ve never really checked the out in person really. I’ve always been put off by their looks. Those half club looking, peanut shaped, hybrid… things. I like the traditional woods look in fairway/hybrids but this one looks good.
Why you want to give the PING G425 Hybrid a try?
Everything else in my bag is newer (it’s taken me 10 years to replace what I had before) except for my 7W. It’s an older TM RBZ. I’d like to give it either some competition, or put it out to pasture. I’m also really liking the forgiveness that’s inherent in the clubs I have now… which is why my 7W is a possible endangered species in my bag; it’s not as forgiving as I’d like it to be. It’s time for a replacement I think Maybe it’ll help me break 100! And I’m wondering if it’s already available in Shot Scope? I’ve got a sensor for it…
Why: Because just this past weekend, I was out playing a round when all of a sudden I DUCK hooked my hybrid off the tee. (Which is unusual for me because I pipe the RBZ dead straight every time.) So instantly I look down and the club face is wide open! The ferrule must be loose and the shaft is off centered. It is TIME for me to now upgrade. RIP to the best hybrid I’ve ever had thus far.
Why you want to give the PING G425 Hybrid a try? I’d like to see if there are actually noticeable improvements between a new model and last years or if it’s all marketing.
