Reduced-taper grips aren’t new and lightweight grips aren’t new, but combining both is.

Weight is only one part of the story. We’ll be looking closely at installation, feel, traction in varying conditions, durability and whether the reduced-taper profile offers noticeable benefits compared to other grips in this rapidly growing category. Perhaps most interesting will be determining whether golfers can actually enjoy the advantages of a midsize grip without experiencing the swingweight changes that have traditionally accompanied them.
If WMX has accomplished what it’s set out to do, SUPER+ could represent a breakthrough for a company that continues to challenge conventional thinking in the grip category.
