Spring 2012 Mid-Atlantic Golf Get Together

twisted dunes looks nice... they have a thing on there where they do packages with hotels and other rounds of golf. dunno if id need a hotel or not depending on what the plan was.

Just played Valleybrook today for the first time. Pretty nice course.

Scotland Run?

I think that may be the one. Twisted Dunes looks very nice I'm thinking Atlantic City just might have to be the place. Plus more opportunities for hotels and obviously a good nightlife as well

I'm leaning that way myself...

That's right in my backyard practically! I live in Williamstown.

That looks like a good course. If we did Brigantine and Twisted Dunes in AC, we could get out of there for a little less money than what it would cost us for 1 round at Baywood.

I know the GM's to 2 different tracks. The one in Brigantine and one in Egg Harbor, McColloughs Emerald links. It's situated on an old land fill and has some really neat holes with some dramatic elevation changes, mostly severe down hill holes. I also know one of the marketing directors at the NJ golf and travel. Maybe he can do some things for us. Baywood looks like a must play but $119 a round is steep when you throw in all the other things going on that weekend. Yall let me know and I'll make the necessary calls1

Scotland Run is the course that is very close to me, but Twisted Dues and Brigantine are good options for me.

Agreed. That definitely sounds like an option.

Don't get me wrong Baywood is a must play but AC for that weekend is starting to sound better and better plus I've never played a Jersey course let alone been to Atlantic City

My buddy is also dating a VIP hostess at a club called Providence, it's in the Tropicana Casino. She could hopefully get us the hook up on waiving admission fees

You miss out on the night time expenses and miss out on what we will be talking about sunday morning :alien:

You sure you want that on your conscience? hehe

A.C. is close enough to have a nice evening and enjoy my own bed! I'm in.

Yeah I know lol. I think it would be fun to listen to your guys stories on Sunday. Fun stuff.

What a change of events in the last 12 hours we've set a time(assuming the votes stand and pretty much looks like it will) and looks like we've settled on the place as well. I may actually have a few buddies here that would come as well if that's no problem- they're not big on golf but they would be down for coming along and going to AC and getting a round in. That's if we need the numbers too though

EDIT: Thainer you better be in.

Yeah the date looks to be just about set, and AC seems like the best place. Then we can really start to plan the details of this thing. And I agree Thainer, you'd better come!

You better come, Thainer.

Looks like it's April 14th & 15th in AC and we will be playing Brigantine and Twisted Dunes. Anyone up for 36 on Saturday? McColloughs is right down the street
