I'm sorry but I just saw this message from you. It's a little late but I hit my 4 iron about 170 yards as for my 4 hybrid I hit that about the same it's just that I hit long irons really well. The progression as I understand it is 3,4 and 5 hybrid replace irons of the same name. As far as hitting long Irons I think the reason I hit them well is that I use more of a shortened back swing and sweep more than hit down on the ball. I hit my hybrids so badly that I'm thinking of getting a 3 iron.

Thanks for anwering my questions in my thread. How far do you hit the 4 iron versus each of the 4 hybrid and 5 hybrids? Does the normal progression not go from 4 iron to 3 hybrid? Is there not overlapping of distance with the 4 iron and 5 hybrid? How is the 4 iron to hit? It is a very strong lofted 4 iron. Is it difficult?
