First time I’ve holed out from the fairway for eagle. Had 110 in and hit what looked like a beauty AW. Couldn’t see it as it was uphill. Got to the green and couldn’t see a ball anywhere and started to get pissed, I could have sworn it was a good shot. Finally checked the hole and the...
Our little community only has 21 houses and I’m on the HOA board. So I know everyone, wave as a first response and offer help when needed.
But to describe myself as a neighbor, I’m the “don’t have a single weed in my yard and definitely pass judgement on all others’ failings in that matter”.
Starting to re-think the OPs screen name. [emoji50]
Definitely get home, get clean and get on the comfy clothes. My kid gets pissed if I don’t put on PJs when I get home from work.
And that is why we don’t have a dog. Plus the whole “we are deathly allergic”. But every time we think about, the dogs don’t wear shoes topic comes up first.
We pretty much enter/exit through the garage door, so we have a huge shoe rack next to it for all our footwear needs. Definitely have my flip flops and slip on Vans ready to rumble for quick exits. It’s a little bit of a pain but you get used to it and the lack of the world’s outside filth is...
The sandals while traveling thread got me thinking. Do you wear your shoes in your home?
We are a “hard no” household. My wife is a clean freak and I have been converted.
Definitely not for flights. One time I had to ride the emergency slide and sandals would have been no good.
As for car trips I will. At this stage in life I’ve perfected the art of not pissing on my feet at public restrooms.
This has inspired a similar thread….
Should have ordered yesterday, Tesla bumped the price $1k on the Model 3 Performance. Not many trims eligible for the $7.5k tax credit. Fortunately, the one we want is!
Drove the new M3LR and a Model Y Performance. Those things are just silly fun to drive. Didn’t really like the Y, rear view...
I was up in the Bay Area this past weekend and saw 3 on the road, each time they received the response “GD that is one fugly car”! Haha
Just penciling things out and I am pretty pumped for this test drive Saturday. Just hope the boss lady is on board, the M3P just seems like a lot of bang for...
Got a test drive scheduled for Saturday. Unfortunately my local store doesn’t have the Model 3 Performance yet so we are gonna drive the Long Range and perhaps a Model Y Performance.
Hopefully I can convince the boss that we need 500+ hp for less money. My wife is the kind of gal that will pay...
I’m thinking about the new Model 3 Performance. It’s eligible for the $7,500 tax credit and is cheaper than the Long Range. Checks a lot of my boxes and I think I’m gonna stop by their store this weekend.
I’ve been wanting an EV to use up some of the solar power our house generates. Currently...
I think I said something dumb like “I hear it’s a growth industry”, thinking he was joking. He looked at me like I was high, when in fact it was he who had been enjoying the Hawaiian barbecue.
...Did not expect him to be so forthcoming with his “I grow weed” answer. Before it was legal in CA he was out there telling the world about it. I looked him up, he was currently under indictment after he got raided. I thought he just wore his heart monitor on his ankle ***kidding on that last part.
I think of Turbulators and how they completely turn me off wanting to hit the clubs. Bring back the i20 without all the nonsense on the top.
In the last year I think about how much I love my 430 hybrid. Truly one of the best clubs I’ve ever hit.
I want it to be point and shoot, whether that be from the tee or fairway. I mostly use it off the tee where driver runs through a dogleg or can put you into a hazard. Other times it’s just an advance as far up a Par 5 as possible, I rarely try to fly it onto a green. Been playing a slightly...
I think about this during our club events, it’s a very busy bar and restaurant. Always figure I’d go to the bartender, tell them my $ amount and ask that they try to only serve other tourney players.
I wish they would implement an insurance fund. Just seems like a no brainer for the course and...
I’ve been back at it the last couple months. Been doing 700m x 7 the last few workouts with a 2.5 minute rest. Probably time to go for a few more intervals, I know they are in there.
I think $200-300. Although I have Kingsbarns in Scotland scheduled in July and that is over $500. If I can get onto the Old Course, that will be two $500ers in short order. You only live once I guess.
That was our plan, fortunately it’s my BIL and I and he is definitely more motivated than I. He wants it bad. Planning to hit the ballot for every day in country, except Saturday at the Open.
Definitely a love/hate with this new process. I love that I don’t have to pack my camp sleeping bag and pad, but I hate that the prospect of camping out for a chance to play the Old is gone. While I’d love to play it, my trip will not be ruined if I don’t. Happy to be spending 6 days in the...
