I can't believe that someone else has played Meadow's Farms.....:banghead:

What a horrible course. My sister worked there for a while and got me free passes. After the experience I had there, I'll never play there again when I'm up at the family's house, even if it's free.

There are better places around for sure, but I'll play pretty much anywhere.

What was wrong with it? I liked some of the novelty holes, but the maintenance was lacking a bit when I palyed. I actually birdied that par 6..something like driver, 3 wood, 7 iron, 8 iron and a putt LOL

I wanted to make it to Hershey Links before it closed for good, but that never materialized. Read nothing but good things and the pictures looked beautiful

It seemed to be cow pastures for fairways, with weeds everywhere. The baseball diamond hole was a bit putt-putt like, but the real turn-offs were the 60 year old beer cart girl wearing high heels and a leopard skin mini-skirt and the course marshall that I had a bit of an altercation with. We were waiting behind a group of members for about 10 minutes on each shot and the marshall kept coming up to us and telling us to speed up, when the members in front of us were the ones holding up play. Even though there were only 2 of us and 4 of them, they wouldn't let us play through. The 4th time the marshall came up and told me to speed up, I lost it and told him to look in front of us. We were on the tee box, they were 150 yards in front of us. He got an attitude and told us that if we didn't speed up, we'd be asked to leave which turned into an argument. After this argument, the group in front was still sitting in the same place, so I pulled driver, flew a ball 100 yards past them, put my driver away and went and loaded up the car.

I told my sister about it, who gave the manager an assessment of what happened. He called to apologize and offered me a free round, which I declined.

Yeah this year was my first and only time playing it. I've never played a course in such great shape with an interesting design booming with business that went NLE in the same season; it was bizarre. I really hope they open up a new one in that area to replace it
