The 2016 THP Events calendar is going to be loaded with the most unique golf events found anywhere. The first up comes in the form of the THP Kickoff Classic Sponsored by Kentwool and it is set to be something special. RTJ Trail - Grand National - Alabama
Both courses will be played
24 THPers will be participating in the Kickoff Classic
Cost & What's Included
Cost for this event will be $299 per person
2 nights shared accommodations at Marriott on site
2 rounds of golf
Range Balls
Group Meet & Greet including Food & Drink
Kentwool Swag
An INCREDIBLE Prize
and so much more
Qualifying
THP Events are held throughout the year and are incredibly unique ways to share a round or weekend with THPers and are filled with equipment, prizes and more. Your ticket to enter these events is the 2016 Albatross Club membership which goes to help animal shelters and pets in need around the country. For more information on that or to sign up and help support this great cause, click here.
Signups
Signups will be held on December 23rd at 1pm
Time of signups will be 1pm EST and run for one hour.
At that time, signup will be as easy as sending an email.
If there are more than 22 signups, random draw will determine who joins the captains.
There is a $100 non-refundable deposit due at signups (or with in a few days) to hold your spot if you get in.
Kentwool
Each participant will have their base layers all sewn up in the finest performance products available. Swag Bags will contain two pairs of Kentwool Performance Tour Profile socks (one for each round of golf) as well as two pairs of their fantastic Boxer Briefs. Once teams are set, captains will work with their participants to choose team sock colors.
Team Event
Merino Marauders - Captained By Tadashi70
Wool Warriors - Captained By War Eagle
Each of these captains will have 11 THPers by their side and will battle to the end. Two full rounds of team golf, but 4 matches will take place. The formats for the golf are (not in any particular order)
4 Ball (best ball)
Shamble
Alternate Shot
Pinehurst
Skill Level
ALL skill levels are welcome and we mean that with everything we stand for.
HOF Tags & Prizes Including Golden Ticket
You read that right. The Kickoff Classic is all about comfort and what is more comfortable than being a part of a team of THPers.
Two Teams of Twelve will face off in this battle to start the THP Events season and 1 of them will get their tags and enter the THP Hall of Fame.
The winning team will also receive trophies to celebrate their victory.
The MVP (not based on golf skills), will be given a THP Golden Ticket, good for any THP Event in 2016 (not including the Grandaddy)
