Any motorcycle owners out there?

Picked up my first Triumph over the weekend. Tiger 660 sport, to be used mostly as a commuter. I’m loving it so far. Does not feel like a 80bhp bike. Also, I like the upright position although it taking a little while to fully get used to. Kept the Z900 as my hooligan bike for the weekends.

seeing this thread makes me miss my bike, but after 2 wrecks in an 18month span I know I don't need to be riding in Houston anymore.

It's why I stopped riding, to many close calls and figured it was just a matter of time before it happened. But man I am ready to ride again and have been looking seriously again. Thinking next Spring will be the time to start over.

I may look at getting a bike again when I retire and move away from a big city. I do miss it.

It’s a little ambitious to consider it a motorcycle, but just got my first moto at 64 years young. A Honda Navi. 109 cc fun little rig for commuting and tooling around town. Should be delivered tomorrow. My wife’s wondering how I’ll get my clubs to the course on it. Top speed about 50-55 mph. This model/color:

I get that concern- I’ve been a road cycler for years and have had my share of close calls and actual wrecks of the bike-car variety. Broken bones and some head trauma, but I’m going for one with a motor on it this time. Not a popular move with the Mrs.

I want one, used to have one when I was 20. Wife has vetoed it

Will be picking up the new bike on Saturday, will post up some pics next weekend. Looking forward to getting back in the saddle, may try and find a MS course to get a brush up.

What are you getting?

Quite the trip to Denver, left beautiful weather and woke up to 4" of snow. Either way I got to the dealer and picked up the new bike. Couple of pic of the dealership

I miss the riding as well. I had a classic 69 Triumph Bonniville, a Kawasaki Concourse mile cruncher and a Honda Transalp dual sport. My brother and riding partner got in an accident while on a cycle tour of New Zealand that took his life. I have not ridden since. I took up golf again to pass the time. Much safer sport.

Decent day today so took Betty out for 50 miles of smiles. 😁

So I managed 130 miles for some break in get to know you session last night. Going to be a fun summer.

Just because I don’t need much excuse, a pic of the current Mark_UK fleet.

I rode actively in the 70's-80's. First bike was a Honda CL-77 (305 Scrambler). Next was a 450 Honda. Last bike was a 750 Norton Commando Roadster. The Norton was more maintenance but I sure miss that one.

Got the Quad lock mounted up.

I've posted about my FXDL Low Rider.

This week I'm gonna get best dad points. I'm buying one of these for my son. A fellow I work with has had it since new and it has less than 1000 miles on it. It's a 2013 Bonneville....classic bike.

The Bonnie will sound nice with that 360 degree crank. Your son will love it!
