I just look at the distance on the scorecard and hit my driver that far. Much simpler.

Since I walk most of the time, I measure them with my calibrated strides. If they're not in the fairway I really don't care how far they went.
I use a little formula that is: (number of strides) x (0.9) = (close enough to the yardage it went)

Pretty accurate, hehe. How do you account for elevation changes or doglegs?

I use the GolfLogix-8 GPS.

What?? You mean you don't just go by the distance sign on the hole and then subtract the distance left to the hole? That is the generally accepted method.
