Yep agree with this the ‘spikeless’ we play in now seem very close to the edge of being called ‘spikes’. There are some out there that I wouldn’t challenge with a morning dew round but there are plenty others with aggressive enough spike patterns where I’d be just fine. The "spikeless" a lot of us play in now - Phantomcats, Alphacat, ProSL, various adidas, etc, for example - are molded "spikes" or nubs. So, for me, I say no. If you're talking the Puma Fusion Classic or something not nearly as aggressive as the molded nubs on most all spikeless shoes, I'd say yes. Yes, being soft spikes, not metal. Metal should be gone.
Ah crap.I thought the TWs had spikes in them?
Ah crap.
I change my comment.
"I havent owned a pair of spiked shoes since 2012, except for TWs."
Thanks for remembering my golf shoes of preference from 10 years ago. That's true friendship.
It probably wouldn't be so memorable if your shins survived. Thanks for remembering my golf shoes of preference from 10 years ago. That's true friendship.
I bled for those shoes, literally. It probably wouldn't be so memorable if your shins survived.
I agree for the most part. But for me personally, the Puma Ignite were some of the most comfortable shoes Ive ever wornI don't see any need.
Spikeless have plenty of traction and they are miles more comfortable IMO
