Belts and Belt Buckles

That is way too badass :D I couldn't rep that. I'm in the process of creating something nice.

We look forward to it.

Me likes. And its clearly unisex.

Hadn't you seen that? It's Rory Sabbatini's. Michelle McGann (I think--someone tall and gorgeous and modelly) has it in pink. So yes, unisex.

Yeah I have seen that one. Its very cool.

I love these...

although, I prefer a matte finish versus the chrome

We reviewed those ones Dan about a month ago. Great stuff. I felt the buckle itself was very cool but I too like the Nickel or matte finish. But PAHR has a great one that is a dark glossy that is very cool.

I know, I meant more as a reference for a THP design... would love to see some kind of script in that boxed form

It is Subseventy. Where is our drawing dent?

We actually spoke with them and they do great work. But cost for the members is just too high.

Agh, I got a few good ideas, but the font isn't working out to well along with the colours. I gave it too much of a sligo look. I'll have to redo it with a different font to give it its own creativity.

Show us what you got regardless.

How about white and light green. Or white and light blue.

Alright, before I do that, give me two colours that you would like to see. I'll include my idea, but two colours of yours would be awesome too.

I love a lime green (or a mint/avacado matte) and white combo!

Burnt orange and white? ha ha ha.

Alright here we go, here is one sample. I can do any colours possible. My idea was, to actually go with a bit of a sligo look. I really like the simple style of their belts, and twist it into three simple letters: "thp"

The belt plating and the leather portion of the belt is just a simple 2d drawing for basic view so you can get the jist of the buckle. I wanted to give it a little bit of a pop out effect. If you ever decide to actually make these, (I did this on purpose) was to have the bottoms of the letters overlapping the backing of the belt to give it a pop out effect. The black outline on the square is the backing of the belt. I didn't do a great job, just whipped out a simple drawing and can actually fully detail it later. Actually, further looking into it, I accidently used the exact same font sligo used on their belt buckle. I really didn't notice that until after I finished, was just trying to get it close.

Edit: Didn't mean for the letters to overlap that much, so if I cut off a little bit more of it, It will look good. Also pretend the backing of the belt is alot more detailed, maybe a chrome or a silver, even a white. Sorry if you guys don't like it.

Not bad Dent. We are going to be speaking with our belt maker tomorrow. We should have more answers for you guys then.

looks great, but honestly the design needs to some work on the P... I don't read that as P.

The design needs to be pack a clean and consise punch. It's the key to all successful designs, the ability to read and comprehend instantly what you are looking at.

I thought the exact same thing. I'm really sketch about the P as well. It was just something I wanted to throw out there to try. I really didn't have any idea, and the sligo look of the belt was my first instinct. I've lost my touch when it comes to photoshop :D haven't used it in months.
