Loving the look of the Cobra Speed Pro S, for now. I like the more subtle scallopes in the head, compared to the scoops of yesteryear.
I have stayed away from Cobra for a long time, due to most having very closed faces. This latest one to enter my bag has a square to 1* open stance and it just LOOKS like one I can hit. Time will tell, eh?
Thanks,
LaMont in AZ
Sorry to be OT but I love the work you did on that putter in your Avatar Lamont.

Look at this L5V, Look at that Carbon Fiber look they gave to it, that is simply sexy.
I cast my vote for the taylormade r9
Again- not because I own it, but I really like the top view of the new 2009 Burner with the "carbon fiber" insets. I'm a car guy so maybe that's why it appeals to me.
Am i the only one that thinks this club looks amazingly bad ass?
nope. i like it too. love the feel of it too. but i actually prefer the feel of the Diablo over the FT-9
I've hit the FT-i, FT-9, and FT-iQ all. And i can say that i liked the FT-iQ the most. Havent hit the Diablo yet. The golfer's warehouses near me need to get some shipments!
But when do you ever see the face when using a club. You see the top at address. And the bottom when pulling it out of the bag. But never really the face.
The regular FT-iq has a closed face. I know that they make a tour version, but the loft stops at 9.5 degrees. I wish they offered other lofts in the tour version. If they did, I would jump on it. I know that I could select a different shaft thus changing my ball flight, but haven't found a shaft that I like more than my current Fujikura Speeder.
If you love the speeder, you may like the Fubuki even more. Similar shaft with a little something "extra" to it. I dont know how to describe it, but I was a speeder fan and now love the Fubuki.

My speeder weighs 54 grams with a 3.5 torque rating and a mid kickpoint. According to MR's website the, Fubuki lowest weight is 63 grams with a torque rating of 3.7 and a mid/high kickpoint. Not much difference, except for a little heavier a higher kickpoint with a little more torque.
Could be a match. If the Fubuki would give me additional yardage, I would switch to it today. :act-up:
