Just spent sometime in the DarkSpeed iron thread. Such a great looking iron. Only thing to decide is variable or OL.

If allowed, I would go with a 2 driver setup. I have some holes that are tight and shorter that fit a higher lofted driver.

I am interested in going back to OL to see how the technology has improved on gaping. Plus, my 7 or 8 iron length has proven to be my best club swing.

I like a full CB wedge since I also use my 52° wedge for full shots as well as around the green. The Black color for sand wedge is very appealing to my eye when in the sand or chips.

Gotta stick with the Armlock for a putter choice. The armlock has been my most consistent size and roll I have found in putters.

Always find these threads fun. Heres what I’d go for:

Driver: Darkspeed X 10.5 with LinQ blue 6X
Fw: DS LS 5 and X 7 wood with LinQ blue 7X
Utility: king Tec 4 with graphite X
Irons: King Tour CBs 5 to PW w/kbs $taper
Wedges: 50, 56, 60 kbs $taper
Putter: Agera 35”
 
Iron shafts are my only real concern. I can’t seem to figure out what the stock graphite shaft is. I picked the Recoil 95 but if they are off the table and the stock graphite is a noodle I provided a stock steel selection:

Driver - Darkspeed X 10.5* Linq blue F4
3W - Darkspeed X 15 Linq blue 6 F4
7w - Darkspeed X 21* Linq Blue 6 F4 - I am going to play this at 19.5* kind of like a 6w
4h - Darkspeed KBS PGI 85 stiff
Irons - King Tour 5-GW. I can’t find what the stock graphite shafts are. If not an uplift I would go with Recoil 95f4. If that is not an option probably KBS Tour Lite stiff
Snakebite 52-08 bent to 53 w/ Recoil 110 f4 if not an uplift over standard graphite. If not I would go KBS Hi-Rev regular.
Snakebite 58-08 Recoil 110 f4 if not an uplift over standard graphite. If not I would go KBS Hi-Rev regular.
Putter - Agera Counterbalanced 3d putter. 38”. I have putted will with a 38” counterbalanced putter in the past.

I want the REL midsize grips on everything. All lies are 2* flat. Lengths are standard.
 
Similar to @Chef23 , I am not sure about the iron shafts. I love the UST no up charge wood shafts. If the T-Rail 4i doesn’t work out I can flip it to @Thrillbilly Jim for a good price 😀Cart total is just over $3K. So crazy to think about what the Morgan Cup includes for an experience.

Truly, there was so much to like about the Darkspeed irons that I wouldn't be shocked to be swayed that direction before all is said and done, but the King Tour are edging them out for today. It's criminal how underrated Cobra irons are with the masses. Not taking a thing away from any other companies' offerings, but simply acknowledging how good Cobra is.

I was planning on hitting both King Tours and Darkspeed on Sunday to see how they compare for me.

In the context of the Morgan Cup and New Tec, my first thought right now is Darkspeed. I've also played LTDx and AJ previously, so I have some history to compare to.
 
After finally seeing the rest of the clubs in hand, I can 1000% do this now/
