Wow, what another great opportunity from THP. Great job again guys. Once my school schedule dies down, I'll try and up my activity around these parts back to where it was, but right now between work, school, and golf, I am absolutely swamped. Congrats to whoever tests these, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Some sexy irons! I haven't been active enough lately to feel comfortable applying, but gl to the lucky winners.

Great contest THP, haven't played Wilson in 15 years.

1. What irons do you currently play? Mizuno MP-60
2. What is your handicap index? 8
3. What shafts do you play in your irons (material & flex & brand)? Nippon 950
4. Are you right handed or left handed? Right Handed
5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP? Check the site on a regular basis, contribute when I think I have something to add. Always interested in how the membership responds vs. the intended market of the manufacturer. Good correlation between what is said on THP and the success of the model if these factors line up.
Testing- practice ground, couple of rounds a week. Golf Trip coming up with lots 'o golf. I have access to a few other models to test against. 6 sets of irons in the last 9 years. A pro who knows my game well for his opinion on change of ball flight. Access to launch monitor. Serious about doing the best job I can for the members.

5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP??

I would play 2 rounds per week, and hit up the driving range whenever possible. I would be able to provide pictures and video of my feedback on the irons. I have a couple friends that are much better than me, including one that is trying to make the Tour. I would let them test the clubs as well to gain even more feedback. Power of numbers, right? I come to THP daily although I post less often than that. This would give me a great reason to post more often.

Thanks for the opportunity to potentially review these.

1. Hogan FTX
2. 13.2
3. Steel Hogan Apex 4's
4. Right Handed
5. I just purchased a 4 month unlimited pass at my local driving range, which also includes use of the Par 31 "Irons Only" course. My goal for fitness and game improvement is to WALK a 9 hole round on the course 5x per week (It takes about 1.25 hours to play) to hit a small bucket each time before I play. My activity level on THP is that I am a relatively infrequent poster, but I'm very often on the site researching, learning, reading product reviews and on the Marketplace forum selling and buying equipment.

I have a night range nearby as well as a range that I can set up a video camera. Activity level will remain consistent and thorough reviews will be provided for these irons.

Big thanks to Wilson Staff and THP for this opportunity!

I just wanted to note how beautiful these irons are! Wow! I can't wait to see what the selected reviewers are going to do with these irons.

Here is some iron porn from the other thread.

Let's remember that this is a signup thread. I know people are excited about this, but this isn't the thread for endless banter.

5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP?
I play at least once a week, and try to get to the driving range at least once a week as well. I would love to participate in this, as I recently was in the market for new irons and thought long and hard about Wilson ENTIRELY based on the long thread about the DI-11s on THP. I was reading everything I could on THP while doing my iron search, and just joined at the end of that search. I continue to read daily, and haven't posted that much but would plan to post after each range session and round. Range sessions would focus on particular aspect of the irons (long one day versus short another, workability for draws/fades/punches, etc.). I was so impressed with the testing in the threads that I read from beginning to end that I would appreciate the chance to provide that kind of feedback to others like me who are looking for that next set.

5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP? I'm on the forum at least once a day and during the week quite a bit more. My posting and playing level has been a little less lately as the birth of my second child has obviously taken some of my time! But now I'm back to my regular mix of playing at least once a month and getting out to practice as much as I can. If I was chosen I would be sure to post pics and videos as well as comparisons to my current and previously owned irons.

Thanks to THP and Wilson for this great opportunity.

5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP?
I play at least 36 holes on a weekly basis along with a few range sessions in between.
Compare the two sets (VR and WS FG) on distance, ball flight, workability and overall performance. As a former players' cavity back gamer, I know what to look and what my preferences are in my irons. If I'm chosen, the VR's would sit in the closet for a while so that I can game and test out the FG V2 irons as they look clean and compact. I'll post my experiences and thoughts about these clubs as I play my rounds and/or range sessions.

4. Are you right handed or left handed? Right
5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP? I plan to test these clubs three times a week at the driving range which is less than two miles from my house. Additionally, I plan on playing once a week and, with the summer now over, have a better opportunity to get out to the course twice or three times a week instead. There are three golf courses within 1.5 miles from my office and I regularly look to get out for either a range session or nine holes after work. The summer made it difficult to keep regular activity on THP because I was doing a bit of travel for work. Once again though, now that the summer is over, the travel activity has subsided and I can now get back to being a more active member on the forum. Prior to all the summer work travel, I was on THP three times a day or more and repeatedly posted through several threads when I felt I could add value to the discussion. I was recently picked several months ago to be a tester for Vision Golf Balls and received personal thanks from the owner/vendor due to my feedback in that test thread. Unfortunately, I was unable to post more than I would've liked then since I lost my test pack of balls relatively quickly.

5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP?
My testing plan would include taking them to the course on almost a daily basis to test them out on the range and on the course. I will post updates after every round with new findings in the test process. I'm on THP daily keeping up with other equipment testing going on and will provide the best information possible for everyone that is keeping up with this review.

I am right handed and currently play a combo set of Mizuno JPX800 Pros and regular JPX800s. In the short irons (the Pros) I have Project X 4.5 graphite shafts and the stock Mizuno graphite offering in the mid and long irons (reg JPXs). After playing with them a few months, I regret not ordering a complete set of the Pros. The Project X shaft is outstanding. My HCP is 9.9 and I am not a great ball striker, but I love the feel of a forged iron when hit on the sweet spot. I am a bit of a club ho, and I drop by THP often for the reviews and write-ups on equipment. I really like a review that starts from receiving the clubs and follows the tester's experiences for a number of weeks, or even months. If chosen, that would be the kind of review I would write. One with lots of updates and a thorough accounting of my experiences with the clubs. The good, the bad, the ugly and, hopefully, the outstanding.

I plan on testing these out on the range multiple times a week. Along with playing at least 9 to 18 holes of golf a week. Through this process I would really like to discover how these beauties perform. Since the are a player's cavity Iron I really want to test both there forgiveness and workability. Feel and sound are also a huge part of choosing the right iron set and so that will be included in my review as well. From the video and images they look beautiful but I will do a more comprehensive review on their appearance if I get to review them.

I love THP I am on this sight daily just waiting to see what new things there are to the world of golf. I am a huge fan of "In the Rough" That is probably my favorite aspect of the whole site. I really enjoy the forum as well. There is such a wealth of knowledge between all of the users. It is so fun to read their reviews and opinions and when I feel I have something to say to share mine as well.

I hope that I get the opportunity to review these bad boys. I am super excited and just want to say thank you for the opportunity to put my name in the pot and thank for providing such an awesome website.

Wilson Staff... You Rock!
