Why are companies doing stuff like this….

Because companies think that we are stupid saps, and will buy any crap that they put out. And sometimes they are right! Like with Pet Rocks!

To me, this idea seem totally hideous! Ketchup is a condiment, and is not meant to be eaten on it's own. That flavor is only meant to accompany other foods. Why design a snack that relies on such a flavor? Oh! I've got it! You can now enjoy a popsicle with an order of fries!

I like ketchup, but don't like tomatoes. The only way I would try this is with piping hot French fries with extra salt.
