Greatest amateur golfer you have ever played with

Bobby Martin was #1 or #2 in Arizona for many years in the 90's. He was a small guy that hung wallpaper for a living, and his forearms were like cables! The guy could absolutely bomb a golf ball and could really score - just a solid game with great putting.
 
head pro at my club. Plays 20 times a year tops and he was 4 under in the 6 holes I played with him, and was extremely close to birdies on the other 2
 
This isn't directed at anyone in particular but are teaching pros considered amateurs?

I guess I'm asking if the OP is asking anyone other than a touring pro?

They are not paid for their play, so I would say yes.

I was more so answering for the theme of the thread that they would be considered "eligible" as an answer.
