The right side hit a hybrid short of the chasm, then take 3W at the green over the forced carry.

That's what we were told to do both times. Mike the caddie said some people try to short cut it and go down 14 fairway if they are allowed in a tourney.

Yep, can't be in a place like that and not take advantage of every minute. But understand the logic - I'd probably just chip and putt.
