Michigan slices journey to VEGAS!!

Kansas has a higher speed limit.... Missouri is ok I know.

Speed away then. You'll get through the boring part faster.
Snow on the mountains this past weekend. Hopefully it wont melt before you get here.

Indianapolis tonight, head down to St. Louis and over to Denver by sleepy time tomorrow.
Leaving Denver in the morning and Vegas I'm guessing around 7-9 pm Thursday.

Not sure if you've done this type of road trip to Vegas before or if you've been there but the first road trip to Vegas is always awesome. Be sure to capture and remember that feeling you get as you roll over the hills and see the lights of the strip for the first time. It's awesome.

Nice dude, I really wish I was making that journey right now.. Enjoy it!!

That's why I want to start off in Denver Thursday, no sense looking at the mountains in the dark.

Safe travels, see ya either Thursday night or on the tee box Friday...probably both!

Michigan is in the rear view, bring on Indiana!

Safe travels buddy....we will see you Thursday night!

What's in the cooler?

Have a safe trip and a word of advice slow down through Columbia, Mo that is where the city cops like to get people on I70.

Wave to me in your way through St Louis!

Safe travels and we'll see you in Vegas. Sounds like a great trip.

I really need to buy pandora one , this commercial is getting old!

OK, I gotta admit, it's never even occurred to me to just sleep in my car overnight on a multi-day road trip. I have no idea where I would want to spend the night "camped" out. Walmart parking lot with the RV's? Flying J? Is staying warm (without keeping the engine running) a concern? I'm intrigued by this.

Yup, walmarts, truck stops, casino parking lots all good places to sleep. To tell the truth, I will fall asleep better tonight with my own pillows sheets, etc. I will be sleeping on high density foam similar to a firm memory foam matress.like doing it this way, but its definitely not for everyone.
I brought sweats to sleep in should I get cold.

Safe travel roomy! See you Thursday.
Stopping for a round anywhere, or driving through?
I did a trip last Oct to reno, was 27 hours. Was a nice trip. Went off course a day on the way back.
Reno is cool, but not enough Poker Tournaments for me. Vegas is where it's at! And will be there tomorrow, super pumped!
Talk to you soon CJ!

Wave? You mean you won't have breakfast waiting?! Why did I even come this way?....

BTW, I think the lady from Rosetta Stone wants me to learn Portuguese.

Indianapolis came and went, Illinois next. Although its time to find a spot to sleep.

Truer words have hardly ever been typed. It is magical, and the memory of my first time coming over that hill to see the lights after seemingly driving forever through desert wasteland brings a smile to my face. Be safe and enjoy!

Boa Noite THP! That's goodnight in Portuguese!

We'll resume this in the morning!

Absolutely love this. Stay safe and keep us updated!

Drive safe. It sould be a fun journey.

Gonna need you to keep both hands on the wheel at night buddy. Hope you had a good night sleep. Btw where are you showering and stuff, truck stops or are you rolling into Vegas all funky :alien2:

You really made great time yesterday! Continue safe travels today!

Good Morning THP!
Wow! Slept like a baby!
Onward to Denver!

Freddie, definitely not rolling to Vegas funky!
Yup showering at truck stops along the way, in fact just stepped out of the shower. Although I forgot shaving cream (oh well I'll do that tomorrow) I should be near fresh, with clean clothes on when I pull in to Vegas!

When I stopped I had just pulled into Illinois, I think it's about 140 miles or so to St. Louis.
Shark hat, look for me waving brother!
