New world handicap system

Anyone know how this will actually work?

I know it's average best 8 of last 20

So of players average is 83.4 at their club on a par 72 with a course rating of say 72.5 what's his/her handicap? Is it simply average minus course rating? So 10.9?

Also how do they calculate daily adjustments for weather/hard pins etc?

I don’t know the R&A and USGA have hammered out all the details yet. The daily adjustment for conditions is interesting.

Will it increase or decrease our Handicaps?

Will we have more fun or more indignation after we punch in our numbers and see that we can't lower our GINN

I have a lot of questions about this one. I need to read up on it some more to really understand it. I think it'll be good though, should make things more consistent. Won't stop sandbaggers, but oh well.

Do we start the 20 cards from November '20 or will they count back your last 20 comp rounds?
