such an old, tired topic. now tasing on the other hand.....
Knowing the Phanatic (he's one of my favorite mascots BTW) he's already got some routine down making fun of the incident. Gotta love the Phanatic.

Well said!!!
I think some people who post on this board need to be tased once in a while. Might do them ( and the rest of us) some good!!!
Now that right there is funny. I agree that I saw nothing wrong with it. Follow the rules and it would not have happened.
they just need to fine people for doing things like this. in australia, you run out on the pitch and get caught it's a huge fine. the 25k fine will usually keep people in their seats.
What would have been the proper course of action? Should they have 2 officers try and grab him by the arm and gently escort him off the field with a good scolding? Heaven forbid anything happens to the criminal. A taser was probably better than if a couple guys actually got a hold of him.
Remember Morganna the kissing bandit? She went after George Brett several times!
But I agree, the dude deserved to be tazed just for being out there. As MO pointed out, you never know what they are gonna do out there.
+1000 you can't take any more chances and give these guys any benefit of the doubt
Philly Justice was served! lol
Tell that to the Royals coach. You break the rules and you deal with the consequences. If he stays in his seat like the rest of the fans, no shock occurs. Breaking the law should have painful consequences.
yeah skinny kids can never be dangerous.
You should NEVER set stadium rules on a case by case basis...NEVER! That is how people get hurt and hurt bad.

When did I say there should be no consequences?
There's that phrase again.
There's that phrase again.
You are making it out like getting tazed causes permanent damage to someone. It happens daily with arrests all around the world. The kid knew the rules and decided to break them. He got taken down as he should. But as usual, believe anything you want.
Smallie, its the same song different dance with some people.
You noticed that too huh?
It's excessive, period. Whether it leaves permanent injuries is irrelevent.
I agree he should have gotten taken down, but not in the manner that he did. Again, when did I say he shouldn't have been apprehended?
It's like the cop was thinking, "shoot, I can't catch this stinking kid. Ahhh screw it, I'll just tase him"
And hey, if words and/or thoughts are incorrectly attributed to me, as they were once again in this very thread, I'm going to have a little problem w/ that.
Sorry.
This happens almost everytime you post I tend to think the problem is with you and not the masses here, the words in question are the words you used so if you have a problem with that I could really care less.
Good call.
Strasburg got promoted to AAA. My guess is 4 starts and we will see him in the bigs.
