Pictures of the course

Beautiful fall day in NY for golf, Vestal Hills Country Club. It was a private club until this spring. I enjoy it...

Just snapped this photo while playing this evening. It's the green of the 13th hole at Charleston Municipal Golf Course at sunset. The course isn't always the best, this view is pretty nice I think.

That's a fantastic shot, we're gonna have to get out there soon.

I played this course in Garland TX on Sunday. Nice public course. Not the best picture. I'll work on that for future pics.

Seeing this picture makes me realise why American members on here determine how durable a ball is based on how well it handles hitting cart paths, lol. I've played golf in a lot of countries and never have I had to drive on a cart path, let alone seen them.

The best ones are the ones that are all gravel. Nothing like hitting into a bunch of sharp rocks.

My home course Madawaska just in the West end of Ottawa. These are actually from last year. This year there are more leaves still left, and a lot more oranges. Will try for more photos this afternoon when I go play between work and the Leafs game:

These are from my home away from home course near my in-laws' place, Whitetail Golf about an hour West of here:

Ya, 1st hole is a 175 yard par 3, odd.

Very good point. I don't think I've ever seen a paved cart path besides within 100 feet of the clubhouse, and usually the only gravel paths not green to tee are on par 3s.

Thanks Trout. I should be good for Sunday if you are in. I was thinking we can hit up Rivertowne, Charleston National or Stono Ferry if you are interested.

Nice photo! Looks almost like a post card. Thanks for sharing.

This is the first hole at cedar hills golf club in cedar hills utah. The tee box is on top of a 200 foot high cliff. It plays 350ish with a creek running across the fairway at 302.

^Probably going to play thanksgiving point this week as they have some good fall deals.

Few pictures from the past 3 days of the 2 courses I play (home course and course near my in-laws), and how their colouring is coming.

Note for the above picture, I'm not even standing at the back of the box. Pretty narrow chute.

Now Whitetail near my inlaws in Eganville, ON...

On this one, I'm actually standing at the front of the chute for the back tees, it looks a lot narrower from the back (though the entire hole slants left to right, there is no way to hit a draw off the tee, you're actually best off landing in the rough and bouncing to fairway). The guys ahead (stuck behind them ALL day, though I digress) are standing about 250 yards from where I tee off. Longest looking par 4 I've ever seen. And the green is 60 yards deep; this day the cup was 4 paces from the back so made for a long hole.

its beautiful. when I played it a few weeks ago the front 9 was amazing. then wind kicked up. played the back 9 in 25-30 mph winds. it was TOUGH. check this deal out, just in case you haven't seen it. http://www.ksl.com/public/deal/show/7312

Yeah that was the deal I was looking at. I played there this spring when they had their half temperature deal.

O'Carroll, what course is that? I used to live in the Albany area.

Here is my recent adventures with fog. I am 160 yards out. Where is the green? :)

Not a pretty photo, but I had a fun day.

7th tee box at Frear Park in Troy. I joked with my buddy that this was the first time I ever felt like taking a pic there, and only because you couldn't see the course.
