Okay this is a partial lie, as it was pouring rain during the round and I was avoiding water as much as possible. At 56 degrees, rainy, and 15-25mph winds, this wasn’t exactly a fun chamber of commerce day. That being said.. we don’t quit at halftime ma’am.

Standing water all over, to the point every green has squeegees to clear your line. Sometimes used, often not so much because lazy.

Heads up, the wind is indeed in play. Away from the water? Yeah it may still be into. A 5i didn’t even go 140yds. We’ll just keep this club in hand for a bit…

On, regrettably. Putting through a puddle because I didn’t feel like moving it was much better. This will go fine, just fine…

Three putt bogey. It did not go so fine.

Was going to say you might have needed to chip that. Had to play my first round at Pebble a few years ago in rain like this. Hated it so much that I had to replay it the following Summer so the stench of a crappy time didn't linger too long.

That putt looks almost as long as some of our par 3's. 😂

How is it still that light at 6:30?

I took the photos when I played but that rain around 11:30 wasn’t phone friendly. It was very much photo, towel, shove into bag!

The title of the thread says live round so that confused the heck out of me! 😂
 
What did you think of the course overall and where would you rank in the one's you have played in the area. I believe you were out here last year?

I’m just out of frame, right on the fairway rough cut you see there center right. This is fine, totally fine.

Contact wasn’t. This was hilariously short. Why could go wrong?
 
One of these days you're going to slip up and start one of these how we joke about...
 
oof, I've played with greens that look like that up here. It is not fun. Course and ocean look gorgeous, even if the weather did not.

Third shot was from just around that little hill on the right. The hybrid from 188 went… 120yds. Perfect. We love that. That’s fine, I’m okay with a wedge.

Oh. I’m okay in normal conditions. This landed hole high, and ripped the f**k off the green 40ft back. Pitched on, two putted. The first drink of the round happened shortly after.
