Understandably many people may not be interested in this thread as sports gambling isn’t legal on a federal level yet, and many states haven’t passed laws allowing it. However, it is legal in my state of Indiana so I gamble here and there and I know others on here do too *cough* @thewilderside *cough* lol. I keep myself to a very low monthly budget ($50) and then if I win then I get to keep going. I consider pulling out when I hit $500 and automatically pull out when I hit $1000.

Use this thread to post any games you might be interested in betting. Post any tips if you have any locks for the other degenerates here. Post any questions if you are looking to get involved. Post your bad beats so we can all revel in the pain. Post any nice promos you see with sports books if it’s legal in your state!

I’ve received a year in recap and my most profitable sport was golf by far. Daily round matchups have been my best friend.

There’s currently a promo on “theScore” where if you place any bet for the next 4 days you receive a free $50 bet. I lost yesterday backing southern Illinois basketball (-8) against Evansville. Evansville won outright and I lost $20. I hit a massive bet last week that gave me $550. I pulled out $500 and have been playing with the remaining $50.

need a lock today to satisfy the promo requirements and to get back to $75. I don’t really like anything on the board. Gonna have to go with NBA most likely.

Rather than individual games or sporting events, I find myself more inclined to wager on future propositions (such as a Super Bowl winner before the season starts or the World Series winner). I wouldn’t bet weekly or daily games in season. And I would definitely love to bet the golf majors.

I’m not a futures guy myself, but a lot of my friends are. It’s a great way to bet and get a solid return and not have to sweat out a 3hr window.

I have some small action on Lamelo Ball being a rookie of the year that I hate now 3 games in but it’s a long year lol.

So dangerous. Especially because linking your bank account is the best way to withdraw. I just had a friend who had won $600 from a $100 promo. Lost it all then added another $200.

you like Mercer this year? They have a pretty strong record. My only concern is woffords losses are all to power 5 teams.

anything over break even is good with me on the year, even if it’s only $1. Netted small losses my first couple of years ($50-$75), but have been +$300 or better the last 3 years. Last year I was down $750 3/4 into the year and ended positive $500 lol.

I do not, they did beat Georgia state and southern who both have decent records, but by looking at the board and 3.5 points this may be a closer game than one would think.

Here’s a fun stat I saw the other day. If you bet $100 on every Jets game for them to win, you’d be up $150 with their two wins.
