It’s time for our fourth major of the year contest . This will also serve as the place for the tournament chat bringing the banter and conversation through the entire 2023 Open Championship.

The Prize
We have teamed up with Edel Golf for a prize pack that features a way to get your short game firing on all cylinders. The lucky winner will receive THREE Edel SMS Wedges of their choosing. You will pick the lofts and the grinds and Edel will get them built up and shipped to you. If you have missed the incredible reviews from our forum members on the SMS line, check them out here.

How to Enter
Post below who you think will win The 2023 Open Championship. In this same post, tell us which of the Edel SMS Wedge Grinds is your favorite. Don’t know which one or what options are available? Edel makes understanding that part really easy. This page on their website breaks down the choices and you can see which one will work for you.

If there is a tie, we will choose the winner randomly from those who guessed right.

Entries must be posted by the time the first players tee off.

I’d go with 48, 52, and 56 degree wedges with C-grind.

My favorite Edel grind is the D-grind. Plenty of forgiveness to really cut through anything and come back out, but enough finesse to open up and play off tighter lies.

I would strongly recommend it to anyone who gets steep or plays in softer conditions.

Wedge wise, initial thoughts are 52/60 I'd go T grind and the 56 I'd go V grind (for something a little more full bounce in the sand).
