Yeah I think LIV would get waaaay more benefit signing Tiger over Rory. I wonder what Tigers price would be?Love you saying Tiger “Is the needle”. Perfect. Reminds me of Reggie Jackson saying “I am the straw that stirs the drink”
So LIV controls the media rumors? Rory says he hasn't talked numbers at all with LIV so are you saying that LIV planted a story that they offered $850 million?Obviously this Rory thing was an act of desperation by LIV, why else do it? not a good sign for them, they needed to stir the pot and get people talking about LIV, even if it was BS.
Hmmm Rory stiffs the DP World Tour but then gets exemption so he can still play the Ryder Cup. Playing the PGAT full time and living in Florida. I wouldn't take anything this guys says with a whole lot of confidence. And that is that

So LIV started a rumor that Rory was close to $850 million contract when each side has not exchanged numbers?City A.M. started the rumor but they haven't commented on their source, nor will they of course, but who else would do it? kinda obvious.
And that is that
So there is a rumor about a rumor? It's the Internet where grains of salt are the size of boulders. So LIV started a rumor that Rory was close to $850 million contract when each side has not exchanged numbers?
It must be true if it's on the internet or on social media .So there is a rumor about a rumor? It's the Internet where grains of salt are the size of boulders.
Tiger is the reason the PIF negations broke down and the SSG deal was accomplished.Yeah I think LIV would get waaaay more benefit signing Tiger over Rory. I wonder what Tigers price would be?
I would like to see younger players on the PGAT share in some of Rory's fame. Something like RF did.The Rory thing always felt odd to me unless as i mentioned before it was purely spiteful.
850M is a ton of guacamole....But Rory has a partnership with the PGA for TMRW sports and equity in that company, that's gotta be worth a lot. He has other equity deals that the PGA helped set up for him, allegedly.
All of his sponsorships and on course stuff....didn't he make 120M or so last year.
Wouldn't Rory's stake in TMRW sports be pretty large?
He's one of the few guys where i'm not even sure LIV could make him an offer big enough
so 54 hole tournaments get points. Invitationals and no cut tournaments get points. LIV does not get points. This system is corrupt and needs to go.54 hole Clutch Pro Tour now getting OWGR points, but they're a dev tour so I think it's fair, and they comply in every other way.
It's always been a problem for LIV to only have 54 holes, but not the biggest issue IMO, Clutch Pro has a cut, has a qualifier, and I think about 130 players at the events, those are very big reasons to get points, LIV and their fans may not care about this issue anymore but it seems to me that the 54 holes has always been the most pressing issue, and it's arguably the least.
Except they have a 36 hole cut and qualifying process and spent 17 months working with the OWGRs for approval vs LIV who just expected to be given the approval. All you are looking at is the 54 holes. Thats where the comparisons end.so 54 hole tournaments get points. Invitationals and no cut tournaments get points. LIV does not get points. This system is corrupt and needs to go.
The player who has finished dead last in nearly every one of his LIV starts isn’t on a teamAt least in LIV the players who are out of the individual still have something to play for as all scores count towards the team score. Nick Dunlap was over 20 strokes back in that limited-field event that Scottie won. Going into the final round that far back what was the motivation to play your best?
The guy who hasn't touched a club in 12 years finished last once in the 4 events he played. Impressive. The player who has finished dead last in nearly every one of his LIV starts isn’t on a team
There was also no outrage when the PIF got involved in women's Pro golf.Blackrock (biggest investment firm on the planet) is doing business with PIF. Where is the outrage? Only praise and describing it as a smart business decision. But, but when pro golfers do business with PIF all heck breaks loose. Funny how that works. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.
BlackRock to launch PIF-backed Saudi investment platform
