An old thread was resurrected but seemed to quickly shift to this matchup. Figured it deserved it’s own thread. Let’s get the interest list going and start planning this.


Where: Desert Willow - Palm Desert CA
When: 1/13 & 1/14
Saturday we tee off at 11:30am on Firecliff and playing two man best ball.
Sunday we tee off at 10:50am on Mountain View and playing singles matches.

If we do Cali, we could do Palm Springs area. Lots of options to stay for a weekend and play some good courses. Not too far from Ontario airport for anyone who would want to fly in.

Did some digging and January is going to be fairly expensive as expected in the Desert. Made a quick call to Desert Willow in Palm Desert and found we can play 2 rounds (one on each course) Jan 13 & 14th for $380 per person morning or $300 afternoon. This includes practice facility use and tournament services. This place is amazing and would make for a great weekend of golf.

This includes practice facility use and tournament services. This place is amazing and would make for a great weekend of golf.

I’ve played Firecliff once but never Mountain View. It’s a beautiful course and challenging for sure.
