Most of use just use a coin or a “coin-like” object to mark a ball on the green... but, have you seen any out of the norm items used as “markers”...?

Military Challenge Coins...

The plastic clip for bread. Not that i have ever done that <_< >_> <_<

my dad constantly forgets his markers and ends up using a tee all the time.

I usually will just use a repair tool or a tee.

If I am in someone's line, then we will adjust from there.

Poker Chips, Washers, Dollar Coins, Two Dollar Coins,

I used a leaf the other day? I’ll use basically anything because I never have a ball marker when I need one.

Various money, challenge coins, tees, divot tools, cuff link, Sharpie, cell phone...

I've been known to buy pin sets I like and grind off the stabby part to use as ball markers. Did it with this set:

That’s a great idea!!

I have a “communion token” from Carnoustie, Scotland... that dates back to 1868! I once thought it might be a classy ball marker... but, I would hate to lose it!

beer can, putter cover, anything if you're in a pinch.

I agree that challenge coins look cool, or pocket change from countries you've visited. I was using some drachma my parents brought me from Greece for awhile.

This thread is hilarious! I mean I get forgetting something on the first hole, but not having a coin the hole round.

I spent $5 on a bag of misc international coins on Amazon. It came in a pouch that I keep in my bag. I'll pass them out if somebody is a tee, leaf or shoe guy.

I’m thinking about getting this commemorative coin. The eagle has landed, might be encouraging! IMG_4313.jpeg

Here's what I always use.... Guitar players always have a pick in their pocket. It's mandatory! LOL...

Used a dead palmette bug once. (On just one hole). So that was different…
Love this this reminds me that I’ve also used an acorn top and a piece of the green part of a walnut.
