What do you collect?

i collect wine; i bought a 180 bottle wine cooler for my office - and its about 1/2 full. I go through phases. Right now stuck on burgundies, love a nice red. Girlfriend loves sauvignon blancs - so ive bought out quite a bit from Marlborough.
Over the summer i was focusing on learning about italian reds. Boy they are complicated fellows. Had a great 2004' Barolo that was INK BLACK. hah. My teeth were disgusting after one glass but it was soooo good.


JB: got a fav wine? what do you and GG like to share?
how about best bottle you ever drank?

My friend almost 10 years ago now - left a country club here as head of Food/Bev Director: the owner said he could take one bottle as a gift for all the hard work he did. He nabbed a 95' Chateau Margaux - we opened it, opening day of the restaurant im at now - 9 years ago. I still remember that glass of wine. Wow - earthy and silky - just perfectly balanced - hands down best wine ive ever had.
 
Mont blanc pens...I've only purchased a few but I have near 20.

best bottle I've ever had was an 86 haut brion.
 
Lately, after a cold spell, mostly sales. :D:egyptian::clapp:
 
And Mafia Wars levels. 303 at the moment.

Pooh those are nice! I have two mint blancs. One is a ballpoint everyday- and I have a fountain pen that was a gift, it's nice to break out for special occasions,its sexy!

As for the wine wow! When did you drink it? That's crazy old!
 
its brutal outside so im collecting dust
 
since 2000 i have been buying proof coin sets from the royal mint here in the UK.

prior to that i was an avid Garfield fan and have just about every book.

and probably like a lot of others on the forum i seem to be collecting quite a lot of golfing memorabilia from all of the courses i have played.

Drank it last Christmas, I actually have 2 more bottles that I can't decide if I wanna drink or sell.

That's a CRAZY set of Ken Onions! I too have damascus steel knives mixed with some Henckels and Wusthofs and Calphalons but those probably take the cake. This is me jealous!
 
I have about 20 watches which is my latest collection. I also have about 500 pencils from each golf course I've ever played.
