What do you do for a living?

School gets you to college/uni, and college/uni is absolutley, 100% the best experience ever!

I hate the song, but I do love college.

I completely agree. I HATED high school but college was the best 4 years of my young adult life. At the stage I am in now I wouldn't want to go back but I will always cherish the memories I have from there....I mean come on I did go to the #2 party school in the US haha.

sorry for going off topic....

What is this 'topic' thing that you speak of? :D

I'm actually considering failing next year, so that I have to repeat and get another year out of it.
Not really, but it's a fun thought to entertain.

LOL I remember the hangovers....nah I'm just kidding. I remember everything and it was great. I loved campus life, I loved walking to class, learning new things, meeting new people and best of all being independent. I don't follow directions well so finally living on my own was the most amazing freedom I could have ever asked for.

I work for my husband's family's business. I basically run the office, but it is a family business so I have many "little" jobs assigned to me.

I used to teach music (band and orchestra) before I was recruited to work for FIL.

I am going to go back and get my Master of Education. I am going to teach high school kids in the KCMO School District(that district needs some serious help). I guess that doesn't answer the thread question, I was laid off on New Year's Eve. I am now like Tommy on Martin.....I ain't got no job!

I'm in I.T. for a hospital. Specficially I'm a Windows Server Administrator. Basically I'm on a team that builds and supports servers that the hospital Health Information Systems run on.

I travel as a keynote speaker on both education and marriage enrichment, and together with my wife of 38 years, we own a curriculum publishing company and an internet site which sells both paper-and-ink educational curriculum, as well as downloadable digital curriculum. As my signature line suggests, we maintain homes in both Kansas City, and Ludington, Michigan- a truly SPECTACULAR resort city if you're ever looking for perfect summer weather and the prettiest beaches in America.

That area of Michigan is a beauty. But the best beaches? I will bring out my biased stick for my home state. hehe

I am a dairy farmer, hard work, long hours but I could never see myself doing anything else.

And you make some damn great products Farmer.

I don't care for FL Atlantic side beaches at all. Now the gulf coast side is beautiful- some of the white sugar sand and all.

That said- there are all kinds of sharp shells, rocks and coral and stinging, biting things in the water- and you have to wash the salt off and fight the armies of tourists most of the time.

Here, the sand is endless, the water crystal-clear, no rocks, no coral, no biting or stinging things, no crowds and it's clear, fresh water- not salty.

This was taken about 1/2 mile from our cottage...

I'm a senior graphic designer for an Atlanta-based ad agency, located here in Mooresville, NC. Better known as "Race City USA" Mooresville is where 90% of all NASCAR race teams are HQ'd.

The client we service is Lowe's Home Improvement, which is directly across the street from our office. Not by coincidence.

I worked a little on the development of the land where that Lowe's Headquarters is sitting, and the Springhill Suites down the road. Wait unitl exit 32 is finished with development...there is an $800+M development on the lake at future exit 32, that area is going to be amazing.

I have Joe Gibbs racing about a 3-wood from my house and it is amazing to the # of employees and interest that place generates. I was at a Mooresville, NC Economic Development Council meeting a couple of months ago and a state congressman stated that Mooresville had 3 economies, Developers/land development, Lowe's, and NASCAR. That about sums it up!

One of the guys I work with, his wife works for JGR and that place is AMAZING!!! If you have never been in there, you must go! I can probably get you in for an "ALL ACCESS" tour.
