Regular play = my ball hitting them every time, regardless of the side

CPO = the furthest away possible from the cart path doth my ball lay
Can confirm. It’s like clockwork.

My local course mostly only has cart paths as you near greens and are driving to next tee box.

11 left, 3 right, 4 both

We have 9 left and 6 right.

13 left, 2 right, 3 split

9 are on the right, 5 on the left. The other 4 start on one side and cross over but two of those are par 3's starting on the right side of the tee boxing and going to the left side of the greens.

Split equally 50-50

Some other facts that I probably only give a sh!t about and even then, who cares?
  • Don't do a left path until hole #5
  • Only 3 left paths on the front 9, remaining 6 on the back 9
  • The 6 lefts on the back finish the round (holes 13 - 18)
  • Shared paths for holes 13-15. End 13, drive down and turn around for hole 14 (short par 3) and then 15 that runs parallel to 13, using the same path

So to recap since I got bored taking pictures

12 left
6 right

On the course I played today.

I said right but don't really pay attention to where they are located. At Chambers there are no cart paths. At the other course I most frequently play it varies maybe very slightly favoring right overall. Why the concern? Do the paths at your courses abut some course condition that makes relief impossible or at least undesirable?

11 left, 4 right and 3 both

Two 18s at my club.

West Course:
Right: 1, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 18 (7 total)
Left: 2, 5, 9, 12, 17 (5 total)
Both: 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 13 (6 total)

East Course:
Right: 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 17 (7 total)
Left: 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 15, 18 (8 total)
Both: 2, 9, 16 (3 total)

Never thought about it before but pretty even. Right side wins 10 to 8. It's 7 to 7 if eliminating the P3s.

Ha, never considered this.

13 left, 5 right. CPO days are appreciably slower, come to think of it.

Interesting question.

10 on the left and 8 on the right.

They seem to be on both sides as I think about it, so my answer is number 3.

Ours are split pretty evenly.

Note, we have one hole where the cart path is like 10 yards from the OB stakes. It's the biggest assh*le cart path placement ever because they could have put it on the other side.

The amount of balls that bounce off the cart path OB is hilarious. Except when it happens to you

9 on the right and 9 holes on the left. An equal opportunity course. :) Our cart paths are 90% paved but are only near the greens and tee boxes and most of them don't extend to the ladies or senior tees.

My home course favors the left but not by a lot. 11 on the left, 7 on the right
