I love roasting vegetables in the oven. so much more flavor than steaming/boiling. I roast anything- broccoli/cauliflower/green beans/ snow peas/ carrots- just toss with a little olive oil, kosher salt and pepper; 425 oven for 10-20 mins depending on the veg.
