    Wilson Ci9 irons

I have thinking about upgrading from the Wilson Ci7 irons to the Wilson Ci9 irons and wonder if anyone has yet gotten to hit the Ci9 iorns and what their feelings on them are?

They were featured in our THP the Magazine in December. Great irons.

How do I find the article?

I have read a number of articles on the Ci9 iorns and have seen them but because of the snow etc... in Wisconsin I have not been able to hit them. Have you demoed them at all?

Yes, they were part of the Diamond in the Rough article in our magazine. They were played quite a bit.

I am not sure they are a significant upgrade over the Ci7. I loved the Ci7 irons and while the Ci9's are great irons, I am not sure I would make that trade.

Ci9 vs. Taylor Made R9 or Burner 09

Would you upgrade to the Taylor made R9 or Burner 09 from the Wilson Ci7 irons?

Me personally, yes, in a minute. Because I think that the R9 have far more forgiveness in them with the same playability. And they are almost a half a club longer for me. But just my opinion.

I just ordered the Taylor Made R9 irons with the Project X flighted shafts. I found that shaft to be the best for me. You were right with regard the Wislon Ci7 and Ci9 irons. Both great clubs but not a lot of difference between them.
