Finally got my ferrule in for my G wedge to pair with the awesome DG120 so going to try and get that plugged in this weekend and then off to the shop to bend to 2* up in the event that we get a 50* day here. Not likely, but I'll be ready just in case!

Played the 919 forged irons today. These are the irons I have been looking for for 2 years. They are surprisingly forgiving. They are long. The ball flight is perfect, high but strong. They feel wonderful when struck pure and give a little more feedback than the players’ distance irons, in my opinion. I pulled one of these irons on 11 holes and hit the green 9 times. It is interesting to me that they are as long as they are when the lofts are not quite as strong as so many of the players’ distance irons.
The one thing I am not sure about yet is how well they hold greens. The greens are now freezing in my neck of the woods and they are very firm. Nothing really holds well, not even little nipped wedges. I am planning on these being my irons for 2019, but will be hoping that they spin enough to give me consistent predicability coming into greens. Right now, though, I am a huge fan.

Thanks for the laugh. I'm also a consistent supporter of the golf industry. In all seriousness though, there are so many great products out there now with very few gimmicks anymore.
Just for comparison, here are photos of two 5 irons, Srixon Z585 and Mizuno JPX919 forged. They are virtually the same size, toe to heel. They have very similar offset. There is a little of the Srixon cavity visible behind the top edge at address.
