Put an older 3 wood in the bag

Watching a video on Rick Shiels web page last week titled "I smashed this 300 yards....." In this video he picks his best older clubs, driver through putter. When he got to the 3 wood he said the Taylormade RBZ 15* 3 wood was, and still is, a BEAST. After watching this video, I got on eBay in search of the RBZ 15* 3 wood with the RBZ Matrix Ozik reg shaft and found one for a great price with the head cover. Received it Saturday and put it in play Monday & Tuesday. He was right, this thing is a BEAST. My current 3 wood, the Cobra F9 14.5* regular shaft, was a 180-190 yd club and this RBZ is 185-200 yd club. Such a solid impact feel and great sound, dead straight and longer that the F9. It's in the bag now. As you can see in the 2 bottom pic's, this RBZ 3 wood has been well used, the previous owner found the center of the face quite often. I'm very happy with this new /old addition to the bag.

Nice! Glad you are liking hitting that. Think I have a 3 hybrid in that line somewhere. Maybe I should bring it out to the range.

I got a buddy who keeps an actual "wood" 3wood, with the metal plate for a face. He can stripe it. Think he only keeps it in his bag to show off, lol. it's such a small head, and... old.

I have the Stage 2 RBZ 3W in my bag. It's been good to me and is pretty damned long but I'm adding an EF 3W because the Flash 5W is so good.

I also the RBZ Stage 2 strong 3W with the same TM stock shaft but, for whatever reason, we've never gotten along.

I keep an 04 Big Bertha 5w in my bag with the stock RCH callaway shaft, its my lifesaver.

That entire burner line was amazing. The driver and the draw based 3W were my favorite

I have the RBZ Stage 2 Tour 3W in my bag and love it. I also had a Burner driver until it got replaced with an M2.

One of my usual playing partners still has a Hi Bore 3w in his bag. He’s been through 3 fittings and Club Champion can’t seem to find anything better.

Up until about a month ago, I still had the Taylormade RBZ 3W and 5W in my bag in that exact same Matrix Ozik X-Con 5 shaft as well

The 5W was ridiculously reliable for me

I still play my nike ignite 15 degree 3 wood, goes 260-280 off the tee and straight. Haven't found anything to replace it with yet. I did finally replace the ignite driver with a 2016 M2

I have the TM RBZ 3HL in the bag still. No reason to change. It finds the fairway off the tee and stays in the fairway from the short grass.
