For those who are not aware, this sunday is the 25th anniversay of WFAN in NY. WFAN was the first 24 hour sports talk radio station in the country. Really changed the landscape of sports talk radio. Still a good listen.

Loved listening to Mike & the Mad Dog
I've listened to the Fan for years until recently. Mike Fransesa has become a bit too arrogant for my tastes. Now I just listen to ESPN Radio.
Miss Mad Dog's tirades yet interestingly, I've never dialed him in on satellite.

Every now and then the Dog will be on Mike's show like the super bowl or world series. I always sense a little extra excitement in Mike's voice during those shows. They were great together.

Today is their big anniversary show 1-6 est. The Dog, Imus and a lot of others will be on.
