I'm trying to order one from the bay but I don't know exactly what it's called. Anybody know the name to type in?

Try shaft puller or shaft extractor

On the Bay, search "Roberts puller" I think they are around $150 but well worth it if you plan on doing the simpler things.

A quick tip if you wish to try and save the ferrule.

Put the kettle on until it boils and pour a cup of boiling water. Place the shaft (adapter end first!) into the cup of boiling water, ensuring the water covers the ferrule, and leave it for a minute. Remove from the cup, dry it, take an old grip and grab the ferrule using the grip... and twist / pull. The heat should free the ferrule allowing you to move it down the shaft before you apply heat and remove the adator.

Ps. As mentioned above, USE A SHAFT PULLER! Don't be tempted to hand pull the adapter or you'll likely wreck the shaft. :)

This is helpful when removing sleeves. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_GW0130
