Should the Players Championship be a designated as major?

No thanks, I think it fits the bill as is right now. The Players is a great tournament but not quite worthy of major status. Although stepping on the tee at 17 with a chance to win your first major could lead to some interesting shots.

I don't really think so. I like the 4 they have as it is. I do think it's a great tournament, but I don't really think another major is needed.

I think it should be a major since it has the strongest field in PG but i also dont think there should be more than 4 majors
