Messenger Bags & Briefcases

Thank you for the offer. Ended up jumping on the one in the 1st post.

The Commander is loaded up. Solid bag and it will work well. Comparing it to GG's Tumi laptop expandable bag I would go with hers and they were the same price but this one will work well.

Going through security without taking my computer out is a major plus and worked flawlessly.

I have a lacoste messenger bag for Christmas a few years ago and I love it. Very sporty/stylish.

Keep Calm and Golf On.

This is a must have for me in any bag, it makes it so much easier in security, especially if I'm traveling with the family or kids and juggling the rest of the items.

I received the Callaway laptop bag for Christmas and I love it. It provides ample room and protects my electronics extremely well. The craftsmanship is pretty solid. Glad I got it, because I use a laptop bag every single day

I've used multiple versions over the years, even backpacks from time to time, but I've finally settled on the PowerBag Business Class Case, it's more of a briefcase style, it has a pass through zipper for airport security and an emergency battery I can use for my devices. It was kind of that all in one.

The few bag things are though, I'd almost rather have a backpack at times for more comfort. And the weight is a bit much.

I've looked at the

I like the styling, space and functionality, I've just never pulled the trigger, I guess I could always buy a separate emergency battery charger, it wouldn't have to be incorporated into my bag.

My dream bag has been the TYLT Energi+ Backpack:

While that previous one I purchased worked today I went in a different direction. Picked up a new Hartmann bag that I really liked and has the lifetime warranty.

Will make its maiden voyage to Indy this weekend

My Timbuk2 bags are as new as the day I got them. Bulletproof.

yeah, they make a solid bag. This one looks perfect still.

I'm a fan of Tom Bihn bags. For when I only need my laptop, a notebook, and a few other things, the Ristretto is a great small bag. For my larger bag, I have a Timbuk2.

I'm on the hunt for a replacement work backpack/briefcase. I want it to have the laptop passthrough for TSA, love having that when flying, but doesn't have to.

I like have a backpack, makes it easier to carry, but could be a messenger bag style briefcase.

What have you all run across that works well? Found some great options on OGIO's website, highly considering one of them.

I've been impressed with my Skooba Designs laptop bag. Six years now and only the rubber cover on the shoulder strap pad has shown any signs of age. eBags often has discounted deals going.

I also had a Brenthaven for about nine years that I really liked but didn't see anything I liked in that line when I needed to replace it (job change).

I’m a huge fan of Tom Bihn for backpacks and messenger bags. Not cheap but absolutely bulletproof and a lot of TSA approved options.

Waterfield Designs makes amazing products and I own a few of them. They are currently working on a new backpack and I highly recommend you check them out. https://www.sfbags.com/pages/professional-backpack
