Hi Socal,if you click the link to the Facebook page you will see images of how it curves around the ball,we took time to make sure the impression that comes out works on the ball .....https://www.facebook.com/Stampyourballscom
I noticed the reply below, doubt this was our version as the ink is contained in a foam pad and doesnt leak,it is absorbed into the pad...

[h=1]Never play the wrong ball again[/h] By Bunkered Golf Magazine on June 30, 2014

[h=2]We’ve all been guilty of it. Rushing up to a ball you’ve assumed to be yours, hitting it down the fairway, only to realise it wasn’t yours. Now with stampyourballs.com you’ll never run that risk again.[/h] The golf brand has created a product that allows you to identify your ball with one of its many designs. The stamp is large enough to be clearly visible, without being overpowering. It’s also durable enough to withstand strike after strike.
“The MK V Stamper has been produced with over 50 designs.”
According to the brand’s official site, the process is easy, with a vast range of designs to choose from. “It is simple and effective to use, and after many attempts to perfect the tool, design and ink, the MK V Stamper has been produced with over 50 designs.”
If only someone had told Hunter Mahan…
Playing the 18th hole at the US Open with Jamie Donaldson, both men found the fairway. That’s when the trouble started.
Both players were playing a Titleist ProV1x, and failed to properly identify their own ball before hitting their approach shots.
Once they arrived at the green and marked their balls, they realized that they had hit each other’s ball. Disaster. The returned to the spot of their approach shots to take a penalty drop and played the hole out from there. Both Mahan and Donaldson signed for a double-bogey six.
Had they played out the hole and teed off (they began their round at the ninth) at the next hole the pair would have been disqualified.

[h=3]R&A rules[/h] Marking your ball with Stampyourballs.com is an easy way to make sure you aren’t in danger of breaking the rules.
According to the R&A: “You are advised to put an identification mark on your ball. Many golfers play the same brand of ball and if you can’t identify your ball, it is considered lost. (Rules 12-2 and 27-1)
