Top 3 Greatest Feeling Irons You've Ever Hit

J40cbs, dcps are awesome also.
Adams CMB
Callaway x forged (2012 I think)

Good call on the Cally's also the FG Tour V2 were awesome imo.

Hogan Apex Edge Pro
Srixon Z545
Mizuno JPX800 Pro

I don't have 3. Only 2 truly have stood out for me: Bridgestone J40 DPC's and Nike forged something.

I got distracted earlier in the thread and forgot to answer.

MP60
CG2
TM CB

Of those, I was actually able to hit the CG2's the best. A fantastic combination of great feel and some forgiveness.

Adams Idea Black CB3 (Current Gamers)
Original Hogan Apex
Late 1960's Walter Hagen Haig Ultras

The CB3's are so smooth feeling to me that the cast irons I have hit recently feel soooo harsh and clicky.

These three stand out, no particular order:

Adams CMB
Mizuno MP 64
Wilson Staff FG62

I can't game any of them though, not nearly enough forgiveness for my hack of a swing lol

My old 1961 W/S Fluid Feel irons - these were my first set of irons and it felt great to hit them.
My current G25's - they may not be forged or considered "buttery," but when hit flush they feel wonderful.

1. Yonex Rekin Super 10 Forged
2. Yonex Super ADX Tour Forged
3. Callaway 2013 X-Forged

Honorable mention goes to the Ping i3 O-Size. They felt like butter when struck well. I still plan to get a set eventually to mess around with.

1. Miura MB-001
2. Mizuno MP4
3. Wilson Staff FG V2

IMO, the right shaft contributes a great deal to the buttery feel of an iron.

1. Mizuno MP33
2. Miura 1957 Baby Blades
3. MacGregor Muirfields

I can't hit blades or forged irons, so I can't relate to many of the posts here about buttery feeling irons. For me, the XR Pros were in another league in terms of feel compared to every other iron I demo'd before ultimately placing an order for them a week ago. None of the other irons stood out for me to rank them as 2nd or 3rd.

3.) ALPHA V2 MB
2.) Srixon 745

1.) Bridgestone J15 DF

1. Miura MB-001
2. Mizuno MP4
3. Wilson Staff FG V2

IMO, the right shaft contributes a great deal to the buttery feel of an iron.

I agree 100% I wish I had tried the Aerotech 95 Reg. a long time ago, might have saved me a lot of money trying new clubs.

1) Mizuno JPX Forged
2) Nike VR Pro Combo
