Give us one thing that makes your city where you live great and the worst thing about your city.

Best thing: Three golf courses all within a half mile of each other.

Worst thing: No In-N-Out Burger 😂

You could have gone with “Its in Ohio”.
Fricsh’s > In-N-Out

Wow, you’re right. I have been in denial that it is in Ohio.

Where is Fricsh’s?

Best - close to Sequoia National Park

Worst - it's still central CA

Best and worst are the same. Mineral Point WI is one of the first mining towns and Wisconsin's 3rd oldest city. It's super historical and a lot of the older buildings were restored and there's a lot of cool historical things to do here - Pendarvis and super cool shops and stores.

This leads to the worst though - the city constantly turns away new businesses that want to move here and thus the city has no money to fix things - streets, water mains, schools, etc. We had Vortex and a few other companies try to come here and the city historical types basically ran them off. It killed a lot of tax revenue that would have helped the city.

So it's great that we've got this historical background and story to tell and Im glad it's here. I just wish they could find a way to co-exist with the modern world as well. Other cities do it, but this place just can't seem to get it together.

Best- Tons of golf and great Mexican food and anything that you do outdoors can be done here!

Worst-Traffic- they didn't plan well here for easy freeway access

Have to give a top 3 for this area
#1 the beauty of the Grand Valley surrounded by mountains & all the outdoor stuff.
#2 Enstrom's Almond Toffee
#3 Palisade Peaches & the wineries
The bad is all the homeless & meth heads.:mad:
