Any health experts? Cholesterol?

OP here,

Been about 6 months, and with diet and walking, have managed to take my total cholesterol down to 4.30. For 65 years of age, while not optimal, should keep me off of statins for now. See the Doctor on Friday for a review.
don't fear the statin. I'm on a baby dose and it drops my levels extremely low. I talked to Dr about stopping and he shared they have proven over 30+ years to have additional benefits

Statins can have some benefits. They can also have some side effects. The first statin I was on was effective, but I eventually developed very tired and weak legs, which is a known side effect for some statins. My cardiologist put me on a different statin at a lower dose and my cholesterol has been fine, but my legs are much better. Taking CoQ10 is also recommended if you’re on statins. Turns out statins can reduced the natural levels of CoQ10.

High fiber, low carb, take your satin and exercise!
