Heading to Vegas tomorrow afternoon for a weekend of golf and gambling. Just curious what the best places to eat at are? We're staying at the Linq so I know I'll need to try In 'N Out Burger for the first time, but curious what some THPers have found to be the best eating spots. We're looking for anything - quick meals or sit down meals.

At In N Out, get the double double with grilled onions, animal style. Can’t help you with other places, I normally just grab stuff when I’m there.
Have a great time!
After thinking about it. If you’re up on Fremont Street, check out Hugo’s Cellar at the Four Queens Hotel. A little pricey, but it’s an old school steak house that’s very good.

Fatburger would be another burger option for you. I actually like Fatburger better than In N Out.

Used to live in Vegas, so can't help with current nice options. I know there are tons though. We always hit up one of our old quick favorites when we visit - Roberto's Taco Shop has many is super fast and fresh food. Another is Capriotti's sandwich shop, can't go wrong with anything there.

Are you going to have a car? Or are you thinking primarily on the strip?

Primarily the strip. We won't have a car, but we're willing to Uber if the place is good enough and won't take forever to get to.

Texas de Brazil is one of my favs. Go in hungry and ready to leave with the meat sweats. It is also right across the street from what used to be the callaway fitting center but is no longer that. No i think it is just called the Vegas golf center, but is a fun little 9 hole course with lights that can be played at night and a great driving range.

If you like sushi, this place is legit. http://umiyalv.com/

near Palms casino, super fresh and a good deal.

just there last weekend. cosmopolitan had several cool restaurants that were highly recommended.
Momofuku
Secret Pizza
Ghost Donkey
Beauty and Essex

Best? NO idea. Must do? In n Out!

Had a vendor take me out to this place and was very different and very good. Not on the strip but recommended.

Capo's

The Sunday brunch buffet at Caesars is awesome! But there's usually a huge line to get in there.

Joe‘s Stone Crab right across the street from you just inside the forum shops. The Stone Crab, the steaks and the fried chicken are absolutely amazing. It is the only sit down non-MGM place I will eat.

You have Hell's Kitchen right across the street from you as well. Last time I was there, Gordon Ramsey was actually there on site.

I'm not Vegas expert having only been there once for work. We stuck to the restaurants either in or around our hotel and had good meals at Spago, Yellowtail, and Mesa Grill.

Hell's Kitchen at Ceasers and Canaletto in the Venitian. If you go to Fremont, Pizza Rock is very good.

I've eaten at both of these places & they are must go for me when I'm there.
Secret Pizza is great & have awesome cannolis!
Four-Kegs you would have to uber (on N. Jones Blvd off 95) but they have the best stromboli around & have been on triple D.

The morning radio show I listen to in MN is always bragging up the Peppermill restaurant in Vegas.

Wanna see something funny, go check out Cracker Barrel over by Bass Pro Shops on a weekend morning. The wait to get in there is longer than any restaurant on the strip! lol

Carmines in the Caesar’s forum shops is awesome. great Italia food

Did not care for Hell's Kitchen other than the smoking cocktail and an appetizer -- and go for desert -- Ramsay has the chocolate toffee type dessert that everyone loves - can't remember its name - but it's his signature dessert.

I haven't been in there a while so I don't know if it's still as good, but Battista's Hole In The Wall used to be one of our favorites.

Have not had much luck with the restaurants in Vegas. However, I enjoy the pizza at Grimaldi’s in the Palazzo shops.

I like Eataly at the Park -- that's fun and food is good and reasonable for Vegas.

GO to Eataly.
