Here is my favorite (if you didn't see "The Newhart Show" back in the '70s, you probably don't get the hilariousness - is that a word? - of the ending of "Newhart" a show from 1982-90):

I actually thought of this before reading the article.

But this is my favorite episode ending of anything, even though it's not a finale. I also just love this song, so it helps.
