Boy I don't know about signing JD. I think it is totally meaningless from the guilt by association perspective or the down with dogs up with flies perspective. However, I can just see Daly on camera looking down at some Betti and making some comment like "darned putter isn't worth a damn". I think that is the real risk with him. He will do just about anything for exposure and the media does accommodate him. So he might get plenty of opportunity to screw up. He is something of a loose cannon. My very first thought was, does Betti need business badly enough to take the risk? Hard to put a positive spin on it.
