Imperfect: That is what I thinking after reading the OP. However, I think Phil's "IMPERFECTIBLE" puts a more positive spin on it and better describes what I was trying to get at. That is the charm for me as a recreational golfer. It can be relaxing or competitive, social or solitary. It can bounce back and forth... But I cannot imagine anyone close to a round of 18 outside of a put-put.
