Exploding shaft.

Never heard of something like this before. I would assume it was a graphite shaft.

I still think it was him breaking the club over his knee or something. Never heard of a club shattering like that just from hitting the ground.

Probably broke it over his knee like lightningbolt said, doubt it was because of his "hockey player strength" because Happy Gilmore was a hockey player who drove the ball a mile and never shattered a club. :confused2:
