I enjoy heading out about 9am and it is still very rare to have a round get close to taking as long as 4 hours
But I do also like heading out around 3pm (or even later in June/July) as you can often find yourself being one of only a handful of people on the course - the only downside is if you get your timing wrong you could be hitting directly into the low sun on 18 which has made for some interesting searches if you don't put a good swing on the ball
