I’m more intrigued in the dcb than anything haha. But ya I’m not sure I would find a spot for one except maybe as a tee box tool.

Makes sense, I can believe the demand is through the roof. Thanks for clarification, straight from the source. Just another of the many reasons I've had Callaway in the bag since 2015. I've been enjoying the fitting rooms lately, keep on killing it Dnevs!

The amount of whining and entitlement by some folks about the trade in bonus here is pretty gross.

Especially if you've been lucky enough to play in the Grandaddy, if missing out on this promotion is enough to turn you off from the brand and folks at Callaway I guess you didn't "get it" as much as you thought.

as much as I love new gear, I’m still going to game my GD set this year. My tools are performing great for my game so I don’t see the need to fix what isn’t broken.

But when I’m ready, I’d definitely will consider the next mbs or maybe a full set of 21 pros.


Such a great offer for thp, @DNevsCG. Glad the 21 lineup is performing well and not surprised at all!

i’m sure this is directed at me, which is totally fair given what i’ve said in this thread.

i personally don’t feel i’m whining. it’s confusion over the decision. it’s confusion over mixed messaging. and it’s confusion over not taking care of your loyalists.

fwiw i don’t really consider myself a callaway loyalist, at least not yet. i have many more purchases to make before i’m there! i’m really more talking about others, some gd members and others who have posted in this thread. they’ve been brand ambassadors far longer than i have, yet were left out of this offer. the offer itself makes no sense to me, let alone how it was “targeted.” hence my comments.

i didn’t say (or didn’t intend to imply) that i was out on the brand. i’ve already bought apex irons from this release.

if it matters (i don’t think it does), i will not be reaching out to nevs for a retroactive application of the discount.

this should go without saying, but i’m just a pm away if you’d like to chat more

Just because somebody has been part of an awesome experience shouldn’t mean that they cannot offer constructive criticism. I hardly think Callaway would want people to think that GD participants are bought. People should be free to communicate their observations, positive or negative, as long as they are fair and courteous.

I will address this as well since I was someone who was wondering about a discount.

I don't think anyone here said they were "turned off" it was more confusion since this is something they almost ALWAYS do, and we were told, multiple times, in this thread, that it was coming.

I ended up purchasing my set today, Apex Mixed Set 5-AW, and likely would have purchased without the loyalty bonus, but it is nice to know they are rewarding people who have bought their clubs in the past.

I almost hate to admit it, because I swore I wasn’t buying any more equipment, but I do have a mixed Apex/Apex Pro set on order. I love my Cobra Tour MIMs and they will go head to head when my swing is where I want it to be.

That right there is why I’m a Callaway loyalist. Already purchased Apex Pros and Driver. But thinking of trading my Mavrik 4w for a speed 7w. Pm coming.
