I hit one of these in a Mavrik Max today and had really good results. It’s not a custom option from Callaway that I can find and I’m on the fence about having CC build it because of cost. Does anyone have any experience with this shaft and any recommendations of a shaft that would give similar results? Thank in advance

What flex? If S flex, grafallloy prolite 35 might be an option

Sorry, it was a regular flex

do a search on the golfworks website. use search term 3B1M. this should pull up several "close" shafts that you may be able to try at CC.
Good Luck

Clafoone-can you please school me.
what does the 3B1M mean about the shaft
Thanks in advance

this has to do with the Maltby Playability Factor. It will put you in the ballpark in regards to selecting a shaft. the link to the selector is:

the shaft you had a preference had a MPF of 3B1M
3 has to do with Swing Speed (77-92mph)
B has to do with what the shaft is designed for (Distance/Control/ or Both)
1 has to do with trajectory (1 is low, 2 is mid, 3 is high)
M has to do with your shot shape (S to correct a slice, H to correct a Hook, M is straight)

it's a good start and gives you options. There are a lot of good shafts out there for less than $100.
